Ataşehir Municipality 1th Environment Festival Week Begins

The 1th Environment Festival Week will be held between 24 and 30 May 2010 by the Ataşehir Municipality Headship. Festival will begin with a child theater named “Çevreci Kedi Çevki”(The Environmentalist Cat Çevki) on Monday, May 24. It will be performed at 10.00 am, at Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Conference Hall. On Tuesday, May 25, students will plant saplings in the district together with the music and clown shows. And then students will held a picnic in Kayışdağı at 80. Yıl Cumhuriyet Parkı. Haluk Levent will participate in the Environment Themed Awards Ceremony held on Thursday, May 27. Mayor of Atasehir, Battal İlgezdi also be attended to the awards ceremony in the Zübeyde Hanım Teacher's House. At the ceremony, Maquette Competition, Waste Battery Collection Competition, the Most Environmentalist School Contest winners will be given award.

On May 28 “Çevreci Kedi Çevki” will tour all the schools in the county.
